We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Director or Director of Discovery to lead our scientific research and development efforts. In this role, you will oversee a team of talented scientists and researchers responsible for the discovery of new gene therapy targets and the design and optimization of gene therapy vectors and delivery systems.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement research strategies to identify and validate new gene therapy targets

Lead the design and optimization of gene therapy vectors and delivery systems to enhance their safety and efficacy

Manage a team of scientists and researchers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality research

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful translation of preclinical research into clinical applications

Requirements:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Scientist or Scientist to join our vector engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the discovery of new gene therapy targets and the design and optimization of gene therapy vectors and delivery systems.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our team. In this role, you will perform molecular biology experiments to support our gene therapy research and development efforts.
Responsibilities:

Perform molecular biology experiments such as cloning, PCR, qPCR, DNA and RNA extraction, and gel electrophoresis

Analyze and interpret experimental data, troubleshoot experimental issues, and recommend improvements to experimental protocols

Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory records, including experimental procedures, results, and conclusions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful execution of research projects

Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in molecular biology and apply them to our research efforts
Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field

At least 2 years of laboratory experience in molecular biology techniques such as cloning, PCR, qPCR, DNA and RNA extraction, and gel electrophoresis

Experience with CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing and lentivirus production is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory records
